Challenges in Film
Hey fellow bloggers, and welcome back to my account. Today, I'll be covering the challenges involved with my filming process. With unpredictable Florida weather and the pandemic, there have been many challenges I'll be covering today.
First and foremost, the weather in South Florida has been extremely unpredictable! Almost every time we've attempted to film, the sky has become grey or even started raining. At first, this was important to our project as we both wanted to have transitions panning to the sun and back. We quickly realized being lucky enough to film on a day with no clouds would be extremely rare, especially since we don't usually drive and can't quickly reach each other on a day that has good weather. We handled this challenge by simply filming indoors! Once it was night time, it stopped raining and we were able to film our last scene.Unfortunately, this past Friday I tested positive for COVID-19. This completely ruined our plans as we were suppose to film our finished product and reshoot what we had to on Saturday. As a result of this, we'll simply have to move our filming date until next weekend or whenever I test negative and feel better. We already have our film planned out so adapting to this will be no big deal.
As far as pulling our on weight, me and Luis have definitely done so with flying colors. His acting skills have definitely been up to par and I'm very satisfied with how my camera work is coming out. Our friends Luke and Adrian have been very helpful with the filming process. We even filmed in Luke's backyard for one of our shots.
