Opening credits analysis
Hey, and welcome to my opening credits analysis.
For my first opening scene, I selected Rango. Rango's opening credits include Rango himself and other characters going on whimsical and ridiculous adventures. This extravagance and humor sets the tone for the rest of the movie, and continues throughout it.
For my next opening scene, I selected Se7en. Se7en's title sequence creates an eerie feeling in the watcher, with scraggly text and a dark atmosphere. It looks like a crime scene, which translate to the movie since it is about crime detectives and a serial killer.
For my third opening scene, I selected Godzilla: Final Wars. This movie's title sequence shows the history of the Godzilla films and how the character has evolved. It shows the heritage the films have, and in my opinion makes the movie more enjoyable to watch after knowing that.
For my second to last opening scene, I selected Madagascar: Escape 2 Africa. Much like Rango, this is another movie marketed to children which shows in the opening scene. It showcases all of the characters going on humorous and insane adventures. This translates to the movie because it is also very fun and easygoing.
For my final opening scene, I selected Kung Fu Panda. This opening scene shows a sort of different animation style. It shows drawings passing by the frame which to me look like some sort of ancient scriptures. This differs from the rest of the movie which has a more standard 3D animation to it.
please don't forget to address things like font, font color, etc.
