Finished Project Feelings!
Finished Project Feelings
Hey fellow bloggers, and welcome back. Thank you all for tuning in, and I hope you're having a wonderful day. Today's a happy day, as I'm celebrating me and my group completing our film opener! That's right, after 8 months we're all done. It's been a long journey, so I wanted to make this post to tell you all how I'm feeling right now.
Truly, the main thing I'm feeling right now is satisfaction. I'm so glad that our film opener came out the way it did. It really came out just like how we had planned. Taking the role as the camera-man really payed off when I get to see all my shots strung together seamlessly. It's very interesting to see your work that you pieced together come together, almost like a puzzle. I'm incredibly relieved and pleased with the results of our film opener.
Over the shoulder shot that didn't make it to the final cut.
Other than satisfaction and relief, I feel an overwhelming feeling of accomplishment, or that I overcame adversity. Shooting a film opener with close to no budget or equipment is certainly not an easy task, but somehow we still managed to get it done. Not only that, but I think we made a pretty great short film despite these conditions. I also feel somewhat lucky that the weather cooperated for once. On top of that, the basketball park was completely empty the day we chose to film. Although I think we were pretty skilled, luck also played a factor.
