First Day Filming!
Hey fellow bloggers! Welcome back to my account. Today, we'll by discussing my first day filming my opening scene project. I'll be including five still photos from our first filming session and accompany them with a description of what went into them.
For our first still frame, this one is of our main character waking up in the morning and brushing his teeth. It's pretty self-explanatory, and we think it came out well. I don't think we'll be re-filming this scene unless something comes up in the future.
This second still frame portrays our main character beginning his exercises or "warm-ups". He starts off with some push-ups and then switches to jump roping. Unfortunately, the ceilings were too low to get a jump rope scene, so we will most likely reshoot this. Also, we'd like to shoot it outside since we weren't able to wear shoes indoors for the costuming. On top of that, the colorful chairs don't match our dark aesthetic.
This next still frame is of a short scene of our main character refueling after his intense workout. Overall, this is a pretty short and sweet scene. As long as we don't change costuming later on, we won't need to reshoot this.
Our last still frame was of our main character practicing his shot form. He was "lining-up" his shots without actually shooting. Overall, this is the shot we're most likely to reshoot as the friend's house we shot it at doesn't necessarily match the "coming from the bottom" type of mood we were going for. I like the touch that it's night time which shows that he has been working hard all day.
