Second Day Filming!

 Second Filming Day

Hey fellow bloggers, and welcome back to my blog. Thank you all for reading, and I hope you're having a great day. Today, I'll be talking about our second and final day filming. Thankfully, since we planned so extensively our project only took two days to complete filming. I'll be including 5 still photos from our second day filming, too.

My first still frame shows our main protagonist driving from his house to the basketball park.

To begin, I'll be talking about our remaining filming schedule. I think at this point, it's safe to say we're completely done filming. As I mentioned earlier, the extensive planning that we did was extremely helpful in making sure our video got done on time. It also came out exactly how we predicted, since we took our time making sure we selected the right locations and props. We won't be needing any reshoots, and all that's left to do now is our music and the rest of our editing.

This still frame shows our protagonist slam-dunking when he enters the courts.

In terms of the video results, I can say that me and my group mate are very pleased with how our film opener came out. We think it captures the visual aesthetic that we were shooting for, and also flows together very nicely. We happened to get lucky with the weather, and the sun was beaming down onto us. It was difficult to get shots sometimes with the sun drowning out everything else in frame, but we just moved to the other side of the court and reshot the clips.

This still frame depicts our main character at the free-throw line practicing his shot.

The camera cuts to a extreme wide shot of the same scene, better showing him missing the shot.

As far as the sound goes, we're very satisfied with the outcome of the audio. The sounds of the dribbling combined with the squeaking of the shoes and inspirational music comes together to make an amazing training montage. It came out almost exactly as we planned. We're truly proud of every part of our video, from the visuals to the sound to the editing.

This still frame shows our character putting in work and doing some decline push-ups.
